As for off-road vehicle laws, ORVs that have not been legalized on the road can only be driven on Texas public roads under certain circumstances, where all occupants must wear a helmet, eye protection, and seat belt if the vehicle is wearing one. That means local authorities probably expect you to do the same if you`re driving an out-of-state street-approved UTV. The OHV plate is also separated from the OHV sticker.
