Mr. Dempsey has lectured on the Admiralty, civil procedure, alternative dispute resolution and the duties of a lawyer to his clients. He has testified as an expert witness in numerous court proceedings for errors of law and attorneys` fees. Mr. Dempsey has served as a director of SEC-listed reporting companies (including non-executive chairman of the board of directors of one of them), a director of private companies and trustee of private trusts. Rebecca A. Asuan-O`Brien`s practice focuses primarily on commercial disputes, including housing and employment discrimination, legal and professional misconduct, fraud and contract disputes. Mr. Asuan-O`Brien has successfully resolved legal issues for his clients at all stages of litigation, including mediation and arbitration, in court, as well as by injunction and final appeal. Michael D. Dempsey, a native of Los Angeleno, was admitted to the California bar in 1969. The 50-year practice of M. Dempsey has been a mix of commercial disputes and transactional issues. He has represented public and private companies, partnerships and individuals in a variety of disputes, including contracts, securities, fraud, accounting, legal errors, fee disputes, labour law, intellectual property, financing and real estate transactions, and insurance disputes. Terry joins us from Homes England, where he previously led the land, strategic land and South East acquisition teams. Previously, he worked for Taylor Wimpey and served on the boards of various housing associations. As Head of Partnerships, Terry believes that modular products are fundamentally changing in terms of quality, efficiency and sustainability, and looks forward to working with public and private partners to create much-needed new homes, both in terms of regeneration and new developments. With thirty years of experience in the residential construction industry, Michael Dempsey joined Legal & General from Wellbury Projects Limited, a development consultancy he founded that provides opportunities for the development and management of residential real estate projects. Previously, Dempsey was Regional Managing Director of Keepmoat Homes Southern, responsible for launching the South England branch of this national home builder and securing a pipeline of 1,700 homes in the first three years of operation. Dempsey has also served on the board of directors of B3 Living, a registered social landlord who works specifically to reduce the cost of building affordable housing. He is the founder and director of Virtual General Counsel. Mr. Cross advises companies in the areas of incorporation, day-to-day affairs, personnel matters, financial transactions and structures, and suppliers. His areas of practice are 90% commercial and corporate law and 10% mediation. Mr. Cross was a partner in the Los Angeles office of two New York law firms and managing partner of his Los Angeles law firm. Prior to founding Virtual General Counsel, he owned and operated a business in the commercial printing industry for 18 years. Ms. Asuan-O`Brien received her J.D. from Loyola of Los Angeles Law School in 2004 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she earned her Laude degree. During law school, Ms. Asuan-O`Brien was selected for the highly competitive Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program and served as a boarder with the Los Angeles District Attorney.

Lance has extensive knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing products, where he has held a number of management positions in the UK and internationally for over 20 years, focusing on growth and restructuring. In addition to working for listed companies such as Solvay and MACO in the chemical and building materials industries, Lance has experience as a CFO with private equity investors, most recently in the window industry. While Mr. Dempsey revels in his love of law, he finds time to hit a tennis ball and risk his life cycling in Los Angeles.Mr. A star quarterback at Reseda High School, Dempsey is now an avid UCLA football fan who is forced to keep a low profile on Mondays and Fridays in the fall. With over 20 years of experience in development and regeneration, Jude`s career to date includes several “Top 10” home builders, including Keepmoat Homes, Galliford Try Partnerships (now Vistry) and Countryside. Jude brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and excels at developing partnerships with landowners, public sector partners and registered suppliers. Ms. Turinchak has also advised clients on employment matters, including the prevention of discrimination and harassment complaints, and has conducted investigations for and in the defense of employers and property owners facing such claims. M. Cross graduated magna laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977 and Harvard Law School in 1980, where he served as co-editor of the Civil Rights Civil Liberties Law Review.
