Successful completion of the foundation year guarantees the automatic transition to the 1st year of our LLB (Hons) degree. The main objective of this unit is to introduce students to the sources of English law and English legal processes. The first part of the unit will cover the legislative process, from social policy to the code of law, the judicial system, the development of the common law and the importance of precedents.
