(d) (1) Notwithstanding any other statutory provision, the Director of the Office of Economic Opportunities or the head of a successor authority, in collaboration with the President of the Legal Services Corporation, shall take such measures as may be necessary, including the provision (by grant or otherwise) of financial assistance to recipients and the Corporation and the provision of services and facilities to the Corporation. In jurisdictions where a significant number of suitable clients speak a language other than English as their primary language, the Company will, to the extent possible, ensure that its primary language is used to provide legal assistance to such clients under this Title. (5) The Company shall ensure that (A) no employee of the Company or any recipient (except to the extent permitted by law in relation to such employee`s employment status) while engaging in mutual legal assistance activities under this Title, engaging in or encouraging others to participate in public demonstrations or picketing, boycotts or strikes; and (B) none of these employees may at any time engage in or encourage others to engage in: (i) a riot or riot, (ii) any activity that violates an order pending jurisdiction, (iii) other illegal activities, or (iv) intentionally identifying the Company or a recipient with any political activity prohibited under Section 1007(a)(6).
