We look forward to helping you. Our staff takes calls at (732) 556-8268 Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to select candidates to determine if they are eligible for legal aid. If a candidate is eligible, they will complete a detailed application to determine if they meet our financial guidelines and file requirements. Once approved, our staff refers the case to a lawyer who voluntarily makes himself available to handle the case. Welcome to the Monmouth County Legal Services Society. We believe that by helping those in need, we make our community as a whole a better place. We are located in the Monmouth County Social Services Building in Ocean Township. After completing an application, clients are interviewed. If an agency is available to resolve its type of case, it will be referred to that agency. If the matter requires litigation and the client meets the eligibility criteria and file requirements, the Director will find a lawyer to represent the client on a pro bono basis.
